Buses
Buses run everyday (except Sundays) along the main A487 coast road, linking the towns between Aberystwyth and Cardigan
Cycling - country lanes
There are some lovely countryside roads starting from the site, heading South, all the way to Cardigan (~20 miles) taking in coastal towns, villages and view points along the way along the way
Mach loop
If you feel the "need for speed" you won't get any faster than this, it's spectacular! (travel time ~1hr 15 mins)
Mountain biking
There are some fantastic trails and downhills nearby, our favourites are the forests of Hafod, Brechfa & Bwlch Nant Yr Arian (travel time ~1 hr)
Devils bridge
Spectacular views, waterfalls, the three bridges and steep step trails make this a lovely walk. Why not get there by steam train on the Vale of Rheidol railway from Aberystwyth. Nearby Tea Rooms and the Hafod Hotel offer great lunch stops (travel time ~1 hr)
Dolphins
Cardigan Bay is home to the largest population of Dolphins in Europe, with lots of great spotting opportunities in and around New Quay
Paddle board & Kayak
You can safely paddle board or kayak from our sheltered beach, or there is all the help you need to improve your skills in New Quay. Catch the early high tide, enjoy the views and maybe even spot some dolphins
Red kite feeding
Watch the Red Kites gather in their hundreds every day at Bwlch Nant Yr Arian visitor centre near Aberystwth. There are also great walking and cycling trails (travel time ~1hr)

We are on the Ceredigion Coastal path along Cardigan Bay which offer stunning hilltop views out to sea, small coves and access to wildlife. It's a 30 min beach walk to New Quay at low tide
